THE LASH LOUNGE® St. Matthews is looking for a dynamic and experienced Guest Service and Sales Associate for our upscale eyelash extension and brow salon. We take pride in creating an inviting atmosphere that will WOW our guests with our service and the confidence that their beautiful new eyelashes will give them.
The ideal candidate will excel in providing a luxury level of customer care for our guests and deliver a first impression that is warm and friendly. You will be integral in creating the last impression by ensuring the guest has absolutely loved their experience, or that they have confidence we will correct any areas where they felt we fell short. Our goal is 5-star reviews with clients booking their next appointment.
The ideal candidate will also thrive in selling the value of our services; particularly our membership model, which will enable our clients to maintain their beautiful eyelashes at all times for a very reasonable price. Finally, our ideal candidate will love to work as part of a team and perform various tasks necessary for the salon’s operation. This includes immediately reacting to a client reaching out to us, proactively calling to follow up with leads, selling memberships, booking appointments, checking guests in and out, maintaining accurate guest records, and ensuring the salon is always pristine and exuding the “luxury salon” vibe.

Candidate Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate must:
· Be highly motivated with a positive attitude
· Follow brand dress-code standards
· Proven face-to-face and phone sales experience
· Be able to multi-task with ease
· Possess excellent customer service skills using our HEART method (brand standard).
· Have experience using MS Office and other computer software programs
· Have exceptional attention to detail
· Have an ability to problem-solve and demonstrate initiative
· MindBody Online Skills is a plus
- Sales Experience / Memberships and Retail Product preferred.
Position Duties:
This position will provide our “Gold Standard” experience to our clients by:
· Greeting clients using our brand required standards.
· Booking appointments (in person and via telephone) using our Lead Management System
· Assisting clients with our cosmetic and membership sales.
· Calling leads, booking appointments using our Lead management system, checking guests in and out, and maintaining accurate guest records.
· Maintaining a sanitary and inviting environment that exceeds all state, local and corporate recommendations and requirements.
Other duties will include:
· Inventory maintenance
· Opening and closing the end of the day tasks
· Assisting with the management of general operations
Additional Position Details:
· Part-Time - 16-24 hours. We need someone who can work 3pm - 7pm Monday through Thursday and then every other Saturday 8:30am - 4:00pm. Additional hours may also be available.
· Training will be provided
· Eventual advancement opportunity exists, dependent on applicant's qualifications and demonstrated abilities
Compensation:
· Competitive Hourly Wage starting from $14.00 to $15.00 an hour (depending on experience).
· Commissions on retail cosmetic sales
· Commissions on membership sales
· Potential for bonuses for monthly/quarterly sales goals.
