Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Laurels of Athens. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
About the Role:
- Provide skilled nursing care services and health education to guests in a long-term care setting.
- Supervise the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members.
- Assess the health of guests and notify physicians of changes in status, promptly implementing new orders.
- Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest's condition and/or prevent complications.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- New graduates welcome; we will provide training.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state.
- CPR certification or acceptable exemption required.
The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
