At The Laurels of Bedford, we are seeking a highly skilled Dietary Manager to oversee the culinary department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning diets, managing food purchases, and ensuring that meals are nutritious and palatable.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the purchase of food and supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Provide technical guidance on diet planning, menu formulation, and food preparation.
- Ensure that meals are served in a timely and consistent manner while adhering to menus and diet orders.
- Interview guests and family members to obtain diet history.
- Participate in regularly scheduled conferences, including department head meetings and interdisciplinary care plan meetings.
Qualifications
- Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Serve Safe certification required.
- One to two years management/supervisory experience preferred.
