Nurse Supervisor Weekend Option
Earn premium pay with a weekend schedule through our Weekend Option program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other team members providing care to residents
- Coordinate nursing care for residents on the unit, ensuring proper staff assignment
- Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions
- Assess resident health, notify physicians of changes, and implement new orders
- Develop plans of care based on assessments and implement nursing interventions
- Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize resident conditions
Requirements:
- ADN or BSN degree
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing practice with interest in gerontological nursing
- Preferred 2 years' experience in long-term care setting
Certifications and Licenses:
- Current state license to practice as a registered nurse (RN)
- Current CPR certification
- Additonal certification in nursing specialty desired
