We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to join our leadership team as an RN Unit Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for leading and teaching other skilled nursing staff, and will provide, plan, coordinate or manage nursing care and health education for nursing home guests at The Laurels of Carson City.

As an RN Unit Manager, you will be responsible for supervising nursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and others.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Review and implement all nursing procedures and systems to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Evaluate and assess systems that facilitate the delivery of quality patient care and performance of staff.
- Use a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized patient care.
- Contribute to patient assessments and development of plans of care.
- Evaluate patients' responses to nursing interventions and make adjustments as needed.
Qualifications
- Current state Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired.
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
