We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our care team.
About the Role
In this position, you will work under the supervision of an RN and assist staff members as needed.
As a CMA, you will be responsible for dispensing medication to patients, ensuring they take their medications at the right time, and maintaining accurate records.
You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on our guests by providing exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense patient medications accurately and efficiently
- Monitor patients' medication intake and record dosage times and amounts
- Follow facility standards and regulations to ensure patient and staff safety
- Assist staff members as needed with daily tasks and responsibilities
Requirements and Qualifications
- Current Medication Aide certification
- At least one year of experience in elderly care, long-term care, or memory care
- BLS certification
- Passion for caring for others
- Interpersonal skills and attention to detail
