What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Nursing Professional position at The Laurels of DeKalb Careers?
The Laurels of DeKalb Careers
At The Laurels of DeKalb, we value compassion, concern, and excellence in our care for seniors. As a Registered Nurse (RN) at our facility, you have the opportunity to use your nursing skills and become a leader. Our comprehensive health insurance package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage. We also offer daily pay, paid time off, flexible scheduling, tuition reimbursement, and student loan forgiveness.
We are an experienced team that values communication and collaboration. When you join us, you will contribute to guest assessments and develop plans of care based on assessment and implementation of nursing care. You will select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest's condition and/or prevent complications. A 1-3 year experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
The Registered Nurse role involves planning, coordinating, providing, and managing nursing care services and health education to our guests. Supervising the care/services provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members who care for guests is also a key part of this role. Assessing the health of our guests and notifying the physician of changes in status is another important responsibility. We believe that every one of our guests is a unique person who deserves our best each day.
