Primary Responsibilities:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) serves as a vital member of our skilled nursing team, responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our nursing home guests. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing hands-on care and supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members.
- Delivering medications safely and accurately.
- Conducting regular assessments to monitor guest health status and notify physicians of changes.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensuring seamless communication and coordination among team members.
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting (1-3 years preferred).
- Active LPN licensure in the state.
- CPR certification.
