Job Summary
Laurel Health Care Company is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Laurels of DeKalb. As a member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality nursing care and health education to our valued guests.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to assess the health needs of our guests and develop individualized plans of care. You will supervise the care services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA), and other team members, ensuring that each guest receives the highest level of care.
Responsibilities
- Assess the health needs of guests and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the physician and interdisciplinary team.
- Supervise the care services provided by CNA, STNA, and other team members to ensure high-quality care and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Monitor the health status of guests and notify the physician of any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
