The RN Unit Manager provides leadership and guidance to nursing staff in a skilled nursing environment. As a key member of the care team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing nursing care and health education for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the nursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and others.
- Review and implement all nursing procedures and systems to ensure high-quality care.
- Evaluate and assess the systems that facilitate the delivery of quality guest care and staff performance.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans using a systematic approach.
- Contribute to guest assessments and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Evaluate guest responses to interventions and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
- Current state nursing licensure required.
- CPR certification and additional certifications in a nursing specialty are desired.
- Previous management or supervisory experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred.
