About the Role
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing nursing care and services to meet the needs of our guests. This includes assessing their health, developing care plans, and implementing interventions to promote their well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the care provided by other team members, including LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and others.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, ensuring that our guests receive the best possible care.
- Assess the health status of our guests and notify physicians of any changes, promptly implementing new orders as necessary.
- Develop and implement care plans based on assessments, using evidence-based practice to inform your decisions.
- Select and institute appropriate interventions to stabilize a guest's condition and prevent complications.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably with a focus on geriatric care.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state, with CPR certification also required.
