About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Nursing Department Manager to lead our team of skilled nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and mentoring, as well as excellent leadership skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and others
- Review and implement all nursing procedures and systems to ensure high-quality guest care
- Assess and evaluate systems that facilitate delivery of quality guest care and performance of staff
- Use a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current CPR certification
- Additional certification in a nursing specialty desired
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
