The Laurels of Greentree Ridge Careers is looking for a skilled nurse to fill the role of Nurse Shift Coordinator. This position involves coordinating nursing care and health education for our residents, while also supervising other nursing staff.
- Supervise nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Implement and review nursing procedures and systems to ensure high-quality care
- Evaluate systems affecting resident care and staff performance
- Apply a systematic approach to deliver personalized care
- Participate in resident assessments and develop plans of care
- Create and implement care plans based on assessments
- Evaluate resident responses to interventions
- Understand medication effects and administer them correctly
- Current nursing license
- CPR certification and additional certifications in nursing specialties
- Desirable: experience in management or supervision in long-term care or geriatric nursing
