Nurse Supervisor (Night Shift)
We are seeking a highly experienced nurse to lead and mentor our skilled nursing staff. The Nurse Shift Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing nursing care and health education for our residents.
- Key responsibilities of the supervisor include:
- Supervising the delivery of nursing care provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants.
- Reviewing and implementing all nursing procedures and systems to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of nursing processes and making recommendations for improvement.
- Using a systematic approach to provide individualized nursing care that meets the unique needs of each resident.
- Contributing to the assessment and development of individualized plans of care.
- Developing and implementing nursing care plans based on resident assessments.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions and making adjustments as needed.
- Ensuring accurate and safe administration of medications and treatments.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Current state license to practice as a nurse.
- CPR certification and additional certifications in nursing specialties are desired.
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred.
