Responsibilities
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at The Laurels of Hillsboro Careers, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, providing, and managing nursing care services and health education to our guests.
- Supervise and Coordinate Care: Oversee the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members.
- Medication Management: Ensure safe and accurate medication-related interventions for our guests.
- Health Assessment and Notification: Monitor guest health and notify physicians of changes, promptly implementing new orders.
- Nursing Interventions: Select and implement appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize guest conditions and prevent complications.
- Guest Assessment and Care Planning: Contribute to assessments (MDS/CAA's) and develop plans of care for our guests.
