Geriatric Nurse Specialist
The Laurels of Massillon is seeking a skilled Geriatric Nurse Specialist to join our nursing team. As a critical thinker and skilled communicator, you will be responsible for assessing the health of our guests, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and contributing to guest assessments (MDS/CAA's).
Key Responsibilities
Assess the health of our guests and notify physicians of changes in status
Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on assessments
Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA's)
Supervise the care and services provided by LPNs, STNAs, and other team members
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have 1-3 years of experience in long-term care settings and a strong understanding of geriatric nursing principles and practices. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
