Certified Nursing Assistant Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at The Laurels of Middletown. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to provide high-quality patient care.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Measuring and recording height and weight, intake and output
- Caring for the guests' environment
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Assisting with eating and hydration
- Observing guests' skin when administering care and reporting changes to licensed nurse; providing skin care as needed
- Meeting guests' mental health and social service needs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- STNA certification
