Job Summary
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at Ciena Healthcare, a national organization of skilled nursing, subacute, rehabilitative, and assisted living providers.
As a Respiratory Therapist (RT), you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for guests with breathing disorders. Your duties will include:
- Assessing patients' respiratory conditions and developing individualized care plans
- Selecting and assembling respiratory equipment, ensuring it is properly maintained and calibrated
- Conducting quality assurance audits and monitoring outcomes of various respiratory care procedures
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and maintaining accurate records
- Providing routine clinical care, including ventilator checks, tracheostomy care, suctioning, resident evaluations, care plan development, and respiratory medication delivery
