Job Description:
Care for Seniors as a Respiratory Therapist (RT)
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at Ciena Healthcare.
- Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and care for guests with breathing disorders.
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain life support systems.
- Monitor outcomes of various respiratory care procedures.
- Establish and maintain respiratory equipment par-level and required maintenance records.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunction.
- Conduct quality assurance audits.
- Conduct quality control monitoring.
- Provide routine clinical care, including ventilator checks, tracheostomy care, suctioning, resident evaluations, care plan development, respiratory medication delivery, supply changes, and equipment management.
Requirements:
- Must be a certified Respiratory Therapist.
- Licensed in the state.
- Completion of a two-year accredited Respiratory Program.
- Current CPR certification.
