Lead and Teach Skilled Nursing Staff
The RN Unit Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing nursing care and health education for our nursing home guests.
Nursing Leadership Opportunity
- Supervise and mentor Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and other staff members
- Review and implement nursing procedures and systems to ensure quality care
- Assess and evaluate systems that facilitate guest care and staff performance
Key Responsibilities
- Use a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care
- Contribute to guest assessments and plan of care development
- Evaluate guests' responses to nursing interventions
Requirements
- Current state nursing licensure required
- Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
