Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care provided by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
- Review and implement all nursing procedures and systems to ensure they meet the highest standards of care.
- Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of systems that facilitate guest care and staff performance.
- Use a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized care plans for each guest.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a plan of care for guests through assessments and evaluations.
- Evaluate guest responses to nursing interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
Qualifications
- Current state nursing licensure is required.
- CPR certification and additional specialty certifications are desired.
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred.
