Director of Nursing (DON) Opportunity
We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and drive exceptional patient care.
Job Summary
The Director of Nursing will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department. This includes overseeing the overall direction and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform resident rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
- Ensure proper charting and documentation of care and of medications and treatments.
- Recommend staffing levels and participate in the budget process to maintain optimal resources.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulations and reimbursement systems.
- Participate in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program to enhance processes based on quality assurance data.
Requirements
- RN license in the state.
- Director of Nursing, management or supervisor experience in long-term care, restorative or geriatric nursing.
