Job Summary
The Registered Nurse Unit Manager is a leadership role that oversees the delivery of high-quality nursing care in our skilled nursing facilities. We are seeking an experienced RN to manage our nursing staff, develop and implement care plans, and ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement nursing procedures and systems to ensure quality care.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing processes and make data-driven decisions to improve patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
- Curren tstate RN nursing licensure required.
- Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired.
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
