Job Description
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, including supervising and coordinating the work of nursing staff, developing and implementing nursing procedures, and assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement nursing procedures and systems to ensure quality patient care
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing practices and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Qualifications
- Current state RN licensure required
- Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
