Join our dynamic project team as an Assistant Superintendent, where you'll play a key role in on-site management, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You'll lead quality control efforts, coordinate with trades, and manage crucial on-site activities like submittals, material deliveries, and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Superintendent in site supervision, safety audits, and maintaining project timelines.
- Oversee quality control, ensuring that all tasks meet project standards.
- Manage construction documents, procurement logs, and project schedules.
- Participate in punch lists, inspections, and ensure project close-out with all necessary documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with tradespeople, subcontractors, and the project team.
- Support safety compliance through training, toolbox talks, and site observations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office; Procore experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction technology and trades.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 0-4 years of construction experience; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
Working Environment:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to travel, relocate, and work non-traditional hours as needed.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and physical activities such as standing, climbing, and bending.
