General Job Description: Responsible for the proper handling of all incoming department mail. This includes receiving mail, prioritizing urgent mail, and electronically distributing mail to proper recipients.
Role in Mission: Utilize technology to efficiently handle incoming mail, ensuring timely distribution to relevant recipients and thus maintaining department goals and deadlines.
Key Specific Duties:
- Receive, sort, and organize incoming mail
- Electronically distribute mail by scanning documents into system, filing, and notifying recipients
- Maintain personal email account, ensuring attention to urgent matters
- Calendar court hearings, notify the administrative team
- Prioritize urgent mail and legal matters
How success is measured:
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to efficiently manage a high volume of mail
- Ability to be extremely organized
- Ability to use custom CRM to electronically file and distribute mail
- Ability to have great time management
- Ability to be flexible when priorities change quickly
- Ability to adapt to different tasks
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well with others and bring and maintain a positive attitude.
Minimum Technical Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree preferred
- Mastery of the English language, both written and spoken
- Legal office experience a plus
- E-filing experience a plus (highly preferred)

- Excellent ability to multi-task and to follow-up
- Able to take criticism well
- Interest/experience in the legal field
