Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Title Processor to join our team in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for processing title documents, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner, and facilitating the closing process for real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process title documents, including deeds, mortgages, and liens.
- Conduct title searches to verify property ownership, outstanding liens, and other relevant information.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Communicate with clients, lenders, and other parties to obtain necessary information and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and issue title commitments, title reports, and closing documents.
- Work closely with escrow officers, real estate agents, and attorneys to facilitate smooth closings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the title processing process.
- Assist with problem-solving and resolving any issues that arise during the title process.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience in title processing or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of title search, title examination, and real estate laws and regulations.
- Previous experience with Qualia.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software; experience with title processing software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
