Litigation Associate

Balick & Balick is seeking an attorney interested in commercial litigation and toxic torts. Our office litigates a high volume of product liability cases. This is an exciting opportunity to step into active litigation with opportunities for in-court and trial experience. Balick & Balick partners with the Law firm of Dalton & Associates for commercial litigation.
Balick & Balick is located in Wilmington, Delaware, and represents clients from across the nation. Prior litigation experience preferred, although recent graduates will be considered. Membership in the Delaware Bar is required, although applicants intending to take the exam in February may apply. Candidates should possess strong organizational, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Job responsibilities include :
- Motion practice and related legal research.
- Civil discovery, including drafting of discovery requests and analysis of existing discovery.
- Appearances at motion hearings and other court proceedings.
- Client communication and case management.
- Both independent and collaborative work practice.
