Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Bilingual Spanish Speaking Associate Attorney (1-3 years) to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to Workers Compensation. This role requires research, writing, and negotiation skills to effectively represent our clients and contribute to the success of our firm.
Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and Petitions with precision and clarity.
- Attend Depositions and Mediations
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients across multiple areas of law.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial, including gathering evidence and preparing witnesses.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation in compliance with legal standards.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and contribute to team discussions.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation Law and Personal Injury Law is preferred.
- Proficient in legal writing and drafting with attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills with a client-centered approach.
- Previous experience in a legal administrative role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
