We are looking for a Client Treatment Coordinator to assist on our pre suit personal injury cases. Experience in a medical office is preferred, especially chiropractic or orthopedic. Hours are Tuesday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm. As a Client Treatment Coordinator, you will perform a variety of tasks to assist on the pre suit cases in our firm. We are looking for someone to be the main point of contact for our clients and medical providers throughout the treatment process. You will also obtain medical records, verify balances, request medical payments and organize the files as a whole. To be successful as a Client Treatment Coordinator, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.Ultimately, a Client Treatment Coordinator's duties and responsibilities are to assist in keeping cases and the office running smoothly, and execute all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Keep client files up to date with treatment statuses and medical provider recommendations
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Request and obtain all medical records and bills for every case
- Organize files in case management software making sure they are complete and ready to move to the next phase of the case
- Call and confirm all bill balances and obtain the medical payments coverage
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, mailing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Client Treatment Coordinator or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
