Overview
I am a solo attorney specializing in estate planning (Wills/Trust), and probate, seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Legal Administrative Assistant. This role is essential to helping manage the daily operations of a small but busy law practice. While most work can be done remotely, occasional in-office hours in Issaquah will be required. Key Responsibilities
- Answer and return phone calls, respond to client inquiries with professionalism and care
- Schedule and confirm client appointments
- Organize and maintain physical and digital client files
- Handle general administrative tasks such as scanning, photocopying, filing, mailing, and assembling documents and binders.
- Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents
- Assist with client intake and data entry
- Provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience; legal or professional services experience preferred
- Accurate typing skills (65 WPM)
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams
- Familiarity with Clio (preferred but not required – training can be provided)
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
