Job Description:
Law Offices of James J. Altman, P.A. is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Data Entry & Filing Clerk to assist with administrative tasks for a short-term project. This role involves organizing and inputting client information, maintaining accurate electronic and paper records, and performing general office filing.
Responsibilities:
- Enter client data accurately into digital systems and databases.
- Organize and file paper documents in an orderly manner.
- Scan, label, and archive legal documents and correspondence.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Previous office or data entry experience preferred but not required.
Additional Information:
- This is a temporary 1099 contractor position (not a W-2 employee role).
- Flexible schedule within business hours (Tuesday-Friday).
