Kanner & Pintaluga, a dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm, seeks a highly motivated and passionate Reductions Specialist to join our team in Delray Beach, FL.
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Reduction Specialist is responsible for processing disbursement on settled cases by reviewing each file and ensuring all providers to be paid are accounted for with correct balances. Once verified, they will start negotiations to reduce the balances and help maximize the clients' final net, and prepare files with the accounting department to process disbursement.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Perform general office clerk duties.
- Handle incoming calls and other communication interactions with third parties.
- Verify medical and negotiate medical bills.
- Sort and update required forms and documentation.
- Record information as needed.
- Prepare and circulate reports as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
