We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our team and provide administrative support to our lead attorney. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing legal documents, conducting research, preparing legal documents, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, have a strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures, and have some experience in probate or real estate transactions. We are looking for someone who is able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual in Spanish is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting legal documents such as pleadings for probate court or real estate closings.
- Organizing and maintaining legal files.
- Conducting legal research and summarizing findings.
- Preparing for court hearings.
- Assisting attorney with legal marketing.
- Assisting attorney in client intake and client acquisition.
- Interacting with clients, witnesses, and other professionals in a professional manner.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
