Job Purpose:
The Lawn Ranger of St. Augustine is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to lead our field operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our landscaping and maintenance services are delivered efficiently, safely, and within budget, while upholding our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will oversee staff, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, while promoting the growth and development of our field team and supporting the overall goals of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
Field Operations Management:
- Supervise and evaluate all field personnel quarterly to ensure high performance.
- Schedule and coordinate all work (projects and maintenance accounts).
- Ensure the availability of materials and equipment for timely project completion.
- Maintain and update company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce adherence to all safety procedures and ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and ensure the implementation of safety programs.
Team Development:
- Hire, train, supervise, and mentor field staff to foster growth and leadership within the team.
- Develop and oversee training programs to enhance staff skills and operational efficiency.
Resource Management:
- Monitor and evaluate equipment usage, making recommendations for purchases.
- Maintain the organization and efficiency of the company yard space.
Operational Excellence:
- Identify and address operational weaknesses to improve efficiency.
- Ensure that production standards, job costing, and reporting are accurate and timely.
- Collaborate on the development and achievement of annual budget and strategic goals.
Customer Focus:
- Monitor job sites for quality and scope adherence to meet customer satisfaction.
- Support sales and marketing efforts with technical expertise and enhancement recommendations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Develop and implement best practices for operations, fleet, and safety.
- Engage in professional development, continuing education, and industry involvement.
Appraisal Criteria:

- Florida pesticide applicator’s license (preferred).
- Prior supervisory experience in commercial landscaping (preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude and computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
