Summary :
The part-time Athletic Trainer will work closely with coaches, student-athletes, departmental staff, as well as key school personnel (such as NP, PA). The Athletic Trainer works directly under our school physicians working orders and reports to the Head Athletic Trainer / Interim Head Athletic Trainer. Under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer / Interim Head Athletic Trainer, the Athletic Trainer will provide immediate health care and first aid, orthopedic assessment, and rehabilitation services to The Lawrenceville School physically active.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Candidate will be expected to adhere to the training room policies and department policies, procedures and regulations and to laws, bylaws, rules, policies, and regulations
- Create and implement prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation programs for sport related injuries
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Travel with and provide medical support to varsity sport teams
- Daily documentation of athletic injuries, illnesses and treatments. Maintain medical records
- Assist with the supervision of athletic training student aides
- Management and proper fitting of sport related equipment
- Other duties as assigned by physician or athletic trainers
- Perform other duties as requested
