Purpose of the Position
To oversee and lead all daily school operations in compliance with state regulations, WALIPP board policies, and the mission of The Lawson Academy. This includes planning, developing, organizing, and implementing high-quality school programs that promote academic achievement, personal growth, and the development of students—especially those from traditionally underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities
- Select, supervise, lead, and inspire faculty and administrative staff.
- Implement effective educational practices relevant to middle school students.
- Promote a positive, safe, and respectful school culture.
- Oversee student recruitment, enrollment, and retention efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, students, and the local community.
- Monitor academic performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets, human resources, and school operations.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal educational regulations.
- Represent the school in community and external stakeholder engagements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).

- Deep understanding of urban school settings and adolescent development.
