We serve NYC public schools in the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan .
We are actively seeking multilingual candidates proficient in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Creole, or Bengali .
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
- Work independently to implement programming in some of the most challenging NYC public schools. We serve Elementary, Middle and High Schools.
- Serve as a mentor and positive role model.
- Recruit and retain students as needed.
- Learn and utilize our methodology.
- Utilize your background to plan and implement after school programming.
- Work on special projects and activities with students and community members.
- Attend staff meetings and training.
- Be prepared to physically work in any of our school communities and sites.
- Be physically prepared to meet the demands of setting up your spaces at school sites, pick-up and drop-off supplies, and facilitate the activities of your assigned placements.
- Submit appropriate paperwork and enter activity logs, attendance, and other data into our online database bi-weekly.
