About the School
The Leadership School is a new, innovative charter public school that opened Fall 2022. We serve students and families within the boundaries of the Normandy Schools Collaborative. The school started with kindergarten through second grade and add a grade each year, growing to kindergarten through eighth grade over six years. The Leadership School exists to ensure that all children in our community grow their leadership capacity through earnest engagement in an academically rigorous, culturally relevant, and relationship-oriented environment. In addition to providing a strong foundation of relationships and belonging and the toolkit of academic skills, our students will have authentic opportunities to practice and exercise leadership—in one’s own life and the world around them.
Responsibilities
We are seeking substitute teachers who are available between the hours of 7:30am - 4pm to support student learning and leadership in the absence of classroom teachers. The ideal candidate has high expectations for all students, believes in the mission and vision of The Leadership School and has experience working with young children.
Qualifications
- 60 College Credit Hours or the ability to obtain a substitute certification.
- High expectations for every student, regardless of their background or abilities.
- Belief in the mission and vision of The Leadership School.
- Experience working with young children.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes quickly and efficiently.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certification.
Salary : $25 - $200
