What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camp Activities Coordinator position at The League for People with Disabilities?
The Camp Activities Coordinator works under the supervision of the Manager, Camp Programs and supervises all main camp program staff. The Camp Activities Coordinator works collaboratively with camp administration to ensure quality camp programming and an overall positive camp experience for all campers.
Qualifications:
Minimum age of 21
Ability to lift campers up to 50 lbs. in accordance with established safe lifting procedures.
Current certifications in lifeguarding, Medication Administration, CPR, and First Aid.
Valid driver’s license (written in English) with no more than 3 points.
Education and/or experience:
Past camp programming or recreation experience.
Experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
