What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Center Assistant position at The League for People with Disabilities?
The Health Services Assistant works in cooperation with and under the supervision of the Manager, Health Services. The Health Services Assistant will work with all Camp Greentop staff on a regular basis throughout the summer to ensure the wellbeing of all campers.
Qualifications:
Minimum age of 19.
Current certification in CPR and First Aid
Ability to lift participants up to 50 lbs. in accordance with established safe lifting procedures.
Education and/or experience:
Experience working in a residential or recreational setting preferred.
Past camp or recreational health services experience preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass Maryland Board of Nursing Medication Delegation 20-hour course
