What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Assistant position at The League for People with Disabilities?
The Kitchen Assistant works cooperatively with a team of other Kitchen Assistants, Assistant Cook, and Head Cook/Kitchen Manager. The Kitchen Assistants will also work with Work Experience participants and the WEA Coach at times.
Qualifications:
Minimum age of 18
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. in accordance with established safe lifting procedures.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time at the sink or other designated work areas.
Education and/or experience:
Experience with dishwashing and food prep in a camp kitchen environment preferred.
