We are seeking a Vice President of Finance / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy, operations, and business development efforts, ensuring The League’s continued growth and financial stability.
This executive role requires exceptional leadership skills to guide our finance team and collaborate with other departments to ensure the company's financial health and growth.
Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and oversee financial policies and processes that promote financial stability and performance.
- Analyze external factors (political, economic, and financial) affecting The League’s financial health and provide proactive solutions.
- Prepare, review, and present financial reports to the CEO, executive management, and Board of Directors.
- Serve as a key financial advisor, offering recommendations to improve financial performance and drive organizational growth.
- Operations & Systems Oversight
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficient billing, cash collections, and customer service.
- Manage financial information systems and recommend improvements to optimize operations.
- Coordinate and lead the annual budget process, providing monthly monitoring and reporting.
- Manage organizational cash flow, forecasting, and banking relationships to support operational needs and future growth.
- Business Development & Program Feasibility
- Oversee business development functions, including financial projections, market analysis, and implementation of new programs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare action plans for new opportunities that align with The League’s mission.
- Collaborate with department directors to ensure strategic alignment and financial sustainability.
- Audit & Compliance
- Lead the annual audit process and serve as liaison with external auditors and the Board’s Executive Finance Committee.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, funding requirements, and best practices.
