About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing and Filing Manager who is well-versed in pre-authorization processes, medical copays, and CPT codes. This position is essential for managing the financial operations of our healthcare facility, ensuring accurate billing practices, and maintaining efficient filing systems to support our revenue cycle management.
Key responsibilities
Billing Management: Oversee the complete billing process, ensuring that all patient accounts are accurately billed and payments processed promptly.
Pre-authorization Oversight: Manage and ensure timely pre-authorization for necessary medical procedures, communicating with insurance companies and patients as needed.
CPT Code Application: Apply accurate CPT codes for all medical services rendered, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing reimbursement.
Patient Account Resolution: Address and resolve patient inquiries regarding billing, copays, insurance coverage, and payment plans with professionalism.
Insurance Relations: Liaise with insurance companies regarding audits, claims submissions, and resolving discrepancies in billing.
Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports, tracking key metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in billing operations.

Qualifications

Proficiency in using billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
