Optometric Technician at Classic Vision Care

Locations: Marietta and Kennesaw, Georgia

Key Responsibilities

• Embody Company Values: Live and promote our core values daily
• Flexibility: Work between our Marietta and Kennesaw locations as needed
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service using our established protocols
• Administrative Tasks:
  • Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments
  • Monitor patient schedules and coordinate with staff and doctors
• Clinical Support:
  • Perform pre-testing procedures and gather patient medical histories
  • Take retinal photographs and maintain cleanliness of exam rooms
  • Prepare equipment and set up the phoropter for the doctor
• Contact Lens Services:
  • Teach patients contact lens insertion and removal techniques
  • Order and dispense contact lenses; process returns and credits
• Inventory Management: Order pharmaceuticals and exam room supplies
• Optical Assistance:
  • Assist patients with eyewear selections and purchases
  • Dispense eyewear; perform adjustments and repairs
• Team Support: Assist with front desk duties and proactively learn other roles

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in optometry or a medical office is a plus but not required
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation to commute between both locations
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks
  • A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
