Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to nurture and educate children in a safe and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in various settings, including nannying, daycare, or classroom environments. This role involves creating a positive atmosphere for children to learn and grow while ensuring their safety and well-being. We are hiring for infant & preschool teachers, shift 7am-4pm.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for children’s basic needs, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children at all times.
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure the health and safety of all children in care.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in roles such as babysitting, daycare, or as a nanny.
- Knowledge of child development principles and behavior management strategies.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to different age groups, particularly toddlers.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential qualities for this role.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of families.
