What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Assistant Toddler Teacher position at The Learning Center?
Full-time assistant teacher for our toddler age groups from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday. Teachers are expected to support the classroom in daily learning and care activities and encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children. Starting pay increases with education and experience. The ideal candidate will have prior child care experience. Positions in NC child care requires a high school diploma, First Aid & CPR, state and federal child care specific background checks, a current physical, and a current TB test.
Summary
As an Assistant Teacher, you will be an integral part of the educational team, supporting the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Your core skills in childcare and experience with children will be essential in providing a safe and engaging classroom setting. With skills in first aid, toddler care, and teaching, you will contribute to the development of the students. Your relevant skills in early childhood education, behavior management, and preschool experience will further enhance the quality of education provided.
