Assistant Pre-School Teacher Position Summary:

The Learning Circle is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Assistant Pre-School Teacher to join our dedicated team of early childhood educators. As an Assistant Pre-School Teacher, you will support the lead teacher in developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, engaging in hands-on activities with students, and creating a positive learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching young children, strong communication skills, and a creative approach to early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in developing and implementing daily lesson plans that promote age-appropriate social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Engage children in hands-on activities and play-based learning experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment, ensuring that materials are accessible to students.
• Support the development of each child's individual needs, providing one-on-one attention as needed.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records of children's development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and development.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a daycare or preschool setting.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each child.
