The Learning Consultants is a primarily woman-owned and run company comprised of passionate and high-performing behavior analysts who provide ABA services to children with ASD and other behavioral disorders in our Sparks, Nevada clinic.
We have a RARE opening for a talented and energetic Behavioral Consultant (BCBA, LBA) to join our organization.
The LC is a performance-based organization focused on supporting our providers in delivering high-quality services. At the LC we believe that learners have the best outcomes when their providers have the time, tools, and resources to deliver the best service. Consultants have access to a clinical support team, including assistants and senior behavior technicians. There is ample time for non-face-to-face activities and for developing the performance of behavior technicians. Our team includes a dedicated compliance director focused on managing systems that ensure ethical and compliant service delivery.
Job Duties
- Conduct functional behavior assessments with children and families
- Write and implement behavioral treatment plans and PBSPs
- Accelerate client progress through developing individualized skill-building programs, establishing measurement systems, and ongoing assessment, and parent training
- Develop the clinical performance of behavior technicians
- Case management and coordination of care
- Provide ongoing supervision and performance development in compliance with internal, state, and national requirements
- Follow internal policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations and requirements of the BACB
Minimum Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in behavior analysis or a related field (e.g., psychology or education) with a strong emphasis in behavior analysis
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and qualifies as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Nevada
- 1-year experience designing and implementing intervention programs for young children with autism and related disorders
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years experience:
- Conducting functional behavioral assessments and analyses
- Administering standardized and non-standardized behavioral assessments
- Writing treatment plans and positive behavior support plans (PBSPs)
- Designing instructional programs
- Developing short and long-term objectives for instructional programs
- Utilizing a variety of teaching/instructional - formats, including Precision Teaching
- Implementing parent training and coaching
- Coordinating and supervising services for clients
- Public speaking including facilitating meetings
