Our motto is work hard, play hard. While it is important for the children to #LearnPlayGrow, we feel that motto should apply to our teachers as well. Working in Early Childhood Education should be fun, messy, exciting, and fulfilling- and here at TLE Astoria we're doing just that!

As a classroom aide here, you'll get to inspire the future generation of all ages. You'll be able to make connections with our infants, all the way to our preschoolers! You'll play a part in all areas of basic care and need that all children need to thrive and flourish!

We are looking for four specific time schedules for our part-time classroom aide :

  • Monday - Friday 1pm - 6pm
  • Monday - Friday 11am - 6pm
  • Monday - Friday 2pm - 5 : 30pm
  • Monday - Friday 2pm - 6pm

Role Responsibilities :

  • Assisting teachers with daily classroom tasks and breaks
  • Serve as a role model to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
  • Build relationships with families and coworkers to create an inviting environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

    • Minimum Qualifications Needed :

  • Six months of professional childcare experience required.
  • High school diploma / GED required.
  • Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
  • Must be vaccinated against Covid-19
